Admission Ads in news papers (2009-2010 session)

I had taken the scanned copies of nursery admission ads from leading new papers of last year and had published those ads from last session 2009-2010 on the community website at http://nurseryadmissionsdelhincr.ning.com/profiles/blogs/admission-ads-in-new-papers

This might not help much in new session but i feel this would at least help with some basic information from these schools like their address, contact information, some quick rules from those respective school.

Hope this helps

A cooler before nursery admision heat turns on next season

With no monsoon in sight this year and Delhi is drying up with everlasting heat blow Delhi Government has announced that they are going to increase upto 10 seats in every class from nursery to class 5 in all govt schools from the this academic session.

In a media release dear education minister Arvinder Singh Lovely mentioned that a circular has been issued to the concerned schools and this change would ensure 35,000 more seats in 375 Sarvodaya Vidyalayas for students from nursery to Class 5 grades. Hence 50 students would be admitted in the primary section of each government schools.

I guess this is a good step indeed as government schools were most sought-after by Delhites in view of the"excellent"performance shown by them in recent board results.

Good job minister!

Schools have enough seats!

Yes, Delhi has enough seats to accommodate all nursery kids! I guess this is what our education minister said last year and I am sure they vouch the same even for this year as well, because they always count gverment schools also in their total available seats for te session.
According to the DOE, the problem is with the choice of parents, as eveyone wants their kid to go to one of that top schools only. Unless Govt is going to improving the infrastructure and quality of education in govt schools the problem with admissions will remain as is.
